Other Information

For those of us who love fine food, cooking is an art, and a quality knife is the artist's brush. At New West Knifeworks they make their chef knives like they cook; they use the finest quality ingredients and prepare them with the patient hands of an artist. Their chef knives are finely tuned, quality instruments, a fusion of form and function. Their customers refer to their kitchen knives as 'kitchen jewelry' and their chef’s knife sets as 'sculpture for the countertop.'

A Green Chef Knife

Their partners at Lamson & Goodnow have been cutting and grinding knives for over 170 years. Located in Shelbourne Falls, Mass., they occupy the same water powered factory in which they started. While the original factory got its power from the river flowing by, the new factory gets its power from its own hydroelectric plant. So, no fossil fuels are used in cutting and grinding the knife.

At New West Knifeworks they are striving to be the Greenest maker of knives possible.
