Hand crafted in Shelburne Falls, MA, by Lamson & Goodnow, the oldest cutlery manufacturer in the U.S. (1837), the Vintage Premier 6” Utility Knife performs all of the delicate tasks for which a paring knife is too small and some of the heavier tasks for which a chef's knife is too big. Made from super alloy American steel of 60 degree Rockwell hardness, the superior edge retention of this blade is what has established Lamson & Goodnow as true experts in American made kitchen cutlery. In addition, the Vintage Premier design has a richly-grained morado exotic wood handle (from the mahogany family) that has been expertly epoxied and polished. Contoured for unsurpassed comfort, it fits in your hand like a glove. Guaranteed sharp for life, Lamson & Goodnow provides a lifetime of free factory knife sharpening with every knife.

I love this knife!! I use it for all my poultry and intricate butchery. It acts just like a traditional chefs knife, only comparably smaller. From my first time using it, it felt like an old friend. (Posted on 3/31/2014)
